Irwin Mitchell did not have consent for £28,000 deduction, court rules

The Law Society Gazette reports on a  24th June judgment in the Senior Courts Costs Office in which Costs Judge Brown found that there had not been "informed consent" to the rates claimed by Irwin Mitchell, or for  the £28,000 deduction from the client's compensation that they sought to justify.
